Google sells advertising space on their website and one of the methods of selling this advertising is called Google Adwords. The way the Adwords system works is that you figure out that you want more visitors to see your products and so you go and open an Adwords account. When you open the account you will be asked what words that are searched that you would like your ad to show up on, what the headline for your ad will be, what the text of the ad will be and finally where you want to take this web surfer to if they click on your ad.
